Did you know that frozen cranberries make just as good Cranberry Sauce as fresh cranberries off the vine? Well, they do- and it’s so much easier. You don’t even have to defrost the berries! I admit I grew up eating jellied cranberry sauce from the can- and I loved it! That being said, homemade cranberry sauce is so much better. I even like it on hot dogs!
Ingredients
-
16 ounces frozen cranberries
-
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup water
Directions
Open the bags of frozen cranberries and pour them into the saucepan. Add sugar and water. Bring to a boil and stir until you begin to hear the berries pop. This can take about 15 minutes. Let mixture cool and then place in fridge. I like to make this a day in advance so it gets a chance to really gel.
